| Mr. Migely | | Hello, my name is Jim Migely and this is my 9th year of teaching social studies at Highland Park Jr. High. I taught World Geography for 5 years and have taught U.S. History for the past 4 years. I grew up outside of Chicago, IL but have lived in Minnesota for 12 years now. I received my undergraduate degree in History from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and | | Standing above the crater of Mt. Fuji in Japan (July, 2009) | my Masters in Education from the University of Minnesota. I've been married to my wife, Kristine, for six years and I'm the father of a 3-year old boy named Declan. I love all kinds of music, reading good books, playing guitar, and doing all kinds of outdoor activities.
I'm looking forward to another great year here at Highland Park Jr. High!
