English class
will experience many things this year. Writer's Notebook and Workshop
are two major parts of the curriculum. Authentic assessments are also
used whenever possible. Several of the themes we consider this year
will closely align with the history class and the science class. In
addition, we will be studying the effects of power and how they are
manifested in literature. During the year, there will be several specific areas that are explored. Some of these include The Holocaust, Research project, and Cultural Awareness.
